About Raja Ampat

Raja Ampat is the Last Paradise on Earth, with an amazing natural phenomenon and an unique biodiversity, still untapped and protected.

Raja Ampat is an Indonesian archipelago, located in the eastern part of the country, in the West Papua province. It comprises over 1,500 islands and covering more than 40,000 km² of land and sea

Located in the heart of the Coral Triangle, Raja Ampat has the Highest Amount of Marine Life Diversity in the world, which makes it a Scuba Diving Dream destination.

Over 1,200 fish species - a world record 284 on 1 single dive-, the benchmark figure for an excellent dive site of 200 fish species surpassed on 51% of Raja Ampat dives -another world record-, 600 coral species (75% of the world’s coral species), 699 mollusc species - again another world high.

Raja Ampat islands are also great for Snorkeling, Bird Watching, sea kayaking, jungle trekking and wildlife observation, mountain climbing, cave exploring,  cultural and village seeing, relaxing on white-sand beaches, visiting hidden lagoons; and other sea and land based activities.
